Description: In this programme, students travel to the ancient Minas de Murçós, a place that bears witness to the connection between human beings and underground resources. Through a guided tour and educational activities, they will learn about the history of mining in the region, the minerals that were extracted there and the impacts of this activity on the landscape and people's lives. Combining science, history and citizenship, this programme makes participants aware of the responsible use of natural resources and the preservation of industrial heritage. A real lesson about the Earth... and the past!
