Duration: 3h
Description: This programme invites students to explore one of the most important geosites in the Terras de Cavaleiros Geopark: Monte de Morais. Internationally recognised for its geological importance, this site allows us to understand complex phenomena such as plate tectonics, the formation of metamorphic rocks and the transformations of the Earth's crust over millions of years. Through observations in the field, analysis of outcrops and interpretive activities, students deepen their knowledge of the planet's geological history and understand the scientific and educational value of this heritage site. A journey into the Earth's past... with your feet firmly planted in the present!
