Description This programme explores the direct relationship between geological resources and the development of human societies. Using concrete examples from the territory of the Terras de Cavaleiros Geopark, students analyse the origin, use and environmental and social impacts of exploiting resources such as minerals, rocks and groundwater. Based on practical activities and discussion of real cases, participants develop a critical view of responsible consumption, sustainability and the strategic importance of geological resources. A programme that unites science, citizenship and environmental awareness.
