EDUCATION | 21. ROCKS, ARCHIVES THAT TELL THE STORY OF THE EARTH

Duration: 4.5h

Description Rocks are much more than simple fragments of soil - they are true records of the planet's history. In this programme, students learn to ‘read’ rocks as natural documents that hold information about ancient environments, geological processes and events that have marked the evolution of the Earth. By observing outcrops and analysing geological structures, participants develop interpretation skills and scientific thinking. An educational route that transforms the territory of the Terras de Cavaleiros Geopark into an open book of millions of years.
