Duration: 2 days
Description: The Geocultural Package offers secondary school students an immersive experience that combines science with culture, exploring the links between the geological, natural and cultural heritage of the Terras de Cavaleiros Geopark. Through visits to geosites, traditional villages and places of historical interest, participants are invited to recognise the influence of geological resources on human occupation, agricultural practices, local traditions and community identity. This integrated approach promotes the valorisation of the territory as a space of knowledge, memory and sustainability, reinforcing the importance of geoscientific and cultural education in the formation of aware and informed citizens.
