A quadrangular temple, the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Conceição was built in 1591 on the initiative of João Roiz, according to an inscription on the temple's façade. The main façade, with a straight gable surmounted by an axial bell tower, has a round arch, topped by a gable, crowned by a cross; it is divided by a portal with a straight lintel, flanked by square windows. On the left side of the door is the quadrangular granite pulpit, finished with a rounded edge and accessed from the left.
The interior is sparsely decorated, but the main altarpiece is decorated with gilded, marbled and polychrome carvings in green and pink, with a central corbel framed by three panels decorated with acanthus branches, Corinthian columns with phytomorphic motifs and a parallelepiped altar with the front painted to imitate brocade.
