In the well-known region of Trás-os-Montes, which Miguel Torga called the ‘Marvellous Kingdom’ and described as a region ‘of nature and climate, rude and harsh, and yet of land and people of unparalleled generosity’, you'll find Quinta do Azibo, more precisely in the village of Podence, where the ancestral tradition of the Caretos is still alive!
Since 2007, the Quinta has offered you the chance to spend a few days surrounded by idyllic landscapes, where you can enjoy the purity of the air, the grandeur of the mountains, the Azibo Reservoir, in the middle of a protected landscape, as well as savour the local cuisine.
Located just a few metres from the IP4 exit (now the A4), around 30 minutes by car from Bragança city centre and 15 minutes from Macedo de Cavaleiros city centre.
The farm has an area of approximately 30,000 square metres, in a wooded area where oaks, cork oaks, pine trees, ash trees and mudflats predominate, which serve as pasture for a small group of sheep on the property.
