ITINÉRAIRES | 09. ROTA FRAGA DOS CORVOS

The Pequena Rota Fraga dos Corvos (Small Route of Fraga dos Corvos) begins and ends at the information panel located next to the Parish Church of Vilar do Monte, also known as the Church of São Martinho. The route runs through this village, where you can also see the Jesuit convent and the fountain. The route continues through agroforestry fields and woods, with views of the Serra de Bornes and the town of Macedo de Cavaleiros. It climbs up to Fraga dos Corvos, where, from a viewpoint, you can contemplate the entire landscape of various mosaic crops, framed by patches of shrubbery, marshes, and small streams. After reaching the highest point and enjoying a privileged view of the surrounding region, the route begins its return to Vilar do Monte.
