EDUCATION | 45. MINAS DE MURÇÓS: THE STORIES OF ITS PEOPLE

Duration: 5h

Description This programme takes students to see the old Minas de Murçós, a place where geology and history intersect with the lives of the local communities. As well as exploring the minerals extracted and the geological processes involved, the focus is also on the human dimension: the memories, testimonies and way of life of those who worked there. Through interpreted visits, contact with historical records and participatory dynamics, students are invited to reflect on the link between natural resources, economic activity and cultural identity. A learning experience that values both the territory and the stories of those who lived there.
