Duration: 5h
Description In this programme, secondary school students are challenged to interpret rocks as real geological records that document the evolution of the Earth over millions of years. Through petrographic analysis, fossil identification and the study of geological structures, they explore the processes that have shaped the planet, from the formation of the continents to past climatic changes. This approach allows them to understand geological chronology and the importance of rocks as sources of information for geology, palaeontology and other Earth sciences. A scientific enquiry that promotes critical thinking and an integrated understanding of Earth systems.
