RELIGIOUS HERITAGE | 57. CHURCH OF SANTA COMBA

The Church of Santa Comba had its last building campaign in 1758, when the residents transported the stonework and clay needed to build the baptistery with their oxen. The main façade is one of the most elaborate examples in the region, even though it is simple. Inside, gilded and polychrome carving is undoubtedly the element of choice for decorating the altars, the side altarpieces are dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima and Saint Christ, both from the 18th century.
The main altarpiece is a triptych dedicated to Santa Comba de Sens, from the first half of the 18th century.
