RELIGIOUS HERITAGE: FROM THE IMMATERIAL TO THE MATERIAL
This small chapel belongs to the Solar dos Morais.
The chapel has a coat-of-arms stone with a billet shield with a concave line boss, quartered, with a star in the middle and a branch in each corner in the first quarter, five stars in sautor in the second quarter, the coat-of-arms of what is thought to be the Menezes family in the third quarter and the coat-of-arms of the Morais family in the fourth quarter.
The helmet is clenched, in profile, looking to the right of the shield, which means that the arms belonged to a nobleman or a nobleman for up to three generations.
The crest is made up of two batons, in floriated quoins.
Above the coat of arms is a small niche with a sculpture of Saint Anthony.
