Mannerist and Baroque temple with a longitudinal plan. It features national-style Baroque side altarpieces and the main altarpiece is carved in Baroque style in the Joanine style. The inscription appears on the portal
«Antonio Roiz a Fez ANN D. 1746», date of its presumed construction. The Church, dedicated to Saint Mary, was built on the site of a small Romanesque chapel from which you can climb the dark granite baptismal font. In the nave there are gilded altars dedicated to Our Lady of Fátima and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The triumphal arch is completely covered in gilded carvings and coffers with representations of doctors of the Church.
The main chapel is decorated with a gilded altarpiece and a coffered ceiling depicting episodes from the lives of Christ and Our Lady, and the Evangelists.
