Near the village of Talhas, next to the river Sabor, different types of rock outcrop, including gabbro, gabbro dyke structures and amphibolites. The overlapping of these rocks represents the oceanic crust of the ancient Galicia Trás-os-Montes Ocean. This ocean disappeared due to the collision of several continents that gave rise to the supercontinent Pangea. The use of these rocks in the construction of the walls that limit the properties makes it easier to observe the lithological diversity and its details.
