The Sra.do Campo viewpoint is located on top of a hill, next to the chapel of the same name, in a place known as Cabeço do Facho, in the parish of Lamas. In this privileged spot you can see the most diverse landforms typical of the north-east of mainland Portugal. We will be able to observe and interpret these landforms in order to better understand the role of rocks and tectonics in the evolution of the Earth's surface. There, at an altitude of around 825 metres, and up to the horizon line, we can identify the flattened surface of Monte de Morais and the Mirandês Plateau, the Bornes, Nogueira and Mogadouro mountains, the Vilariça geological fault and the river valleys that fit into these landforms.
