This geosite is located on the northern section of the ridge of the Bornes mountain range. The site offers a panoramic view over a large part of the Geopark's territory. To the northwest you can see the Macedo de Cavaleiros depression, associated with the tectonic movement of the Vilariça Fault. To the east, the Morais Massif stands out, with its exotic rocks and vegetation, and the Morais Fault, which influences the orientation of the valleys.
