Inaugurated on September 8, 1964, the Church of Our Lady of Pilar in Vale Pradinhos was built by the Pinto de Azevedo family, who brought together a group of renowned artists of the time for this temple, among which we highlight Guilherme Camarinha, author of the mural painting of Our Lady of Pilar, and Jorge Barradas, author of the tile panel with half-length figures representing the apparition of Our Lady to the shepherd children of Fátima that decorates the entire front of the church.
