RELIGIOUS HERITAGE: FROM THE IMMATERIAL TO THE MATERIAL
Of Renaissance architecture, this church dates from the 15th century and belonged to the Knights of the Order of Malta. Next to the pulpit, but outside the porch, there is a granite sarcophagus resting on a support depicting a zoomorphic image.
The six paintings that adorn the altarpiece, dating from the 16th century, were covered by six 18th century canvases.
The chapel dedicated to the Divine Lord of Malta has a gilded and painted carved altarpiece depicting God the Father. The ceiling of the octagonal chapel depicts scenes from the Passion.
