RELIGIOUS HERITAGE | 64. CHURCH OF SANTA MARINHA

Baroque-style church. It has a nave, chancel and sacristy and, inside, the high choir is made of wood and the altarpieces are in Baroque gilded wood.
The façade has a round-arched portal in granite ashlar, with a gable truncated by a bell tower with two round-arched bells.
On the right-hand side of the façade you can see three carved granite stones with carved motifs, two human figures and a hunting scene with a dog and a dead boar.
Inside, the triumphal arch stands out, covered in gilded woodwork with two altarpieces dedicated to Christ Crucified and Our Lady of the Rosary.
The chancel is decorated with coffered ceilings depicting the Apostles, Evangelists and the Blessed Sacrament, and the roof is decorated with five coffered ceilings, the center with Saint Mary.
