Viewpoint over the River Sabor, where it is at its deepest (around 250 meters) in the municipality of Macedo de Cavaleiros. In this sector, it is possible to witness the river network's strong fit into the plateau of Trás-os-Montes, where there are traces of a drainage that predates the current one, at elevations close to 500 meters. In addition to the scientific value associated with geomorphology, this site has cultural value because there are ruins of a wall (Cerca dos Mouros) attributed to the Iron Age, for which the local rocks (amphibolite schists and gabbros) were used.
