A thermal spa with suspended activity, used to treat rheumatic diseases and chronic dermatoses. The water flows from diaclases in the amphibolites and is related to the Morais fault. Sodium sulphur water, silicate, hypothermal, alkaline-sodic, also containing fluoride, with temperatures of 17.9 ⁰C and pH= 10.34. From the site you can see Monte de Balsamão, a serpentinite hardness relief, in contact with the Morais fault.
