| 27. SALSELAS DEPRESSION
Immediately to the north of the village of Salselas and associated with the stream of the same name, there is a wide, flat-bottomed valley in which cover sediments occur. Of particular interest here is the geomorphology of the small valley, orientated parallel to the Bragança-Vilariça-Manteigas tectonic accident (Vilariça Fault), which demonstrates its structural control.
